    Okay to use regular cotton?

$12 for 60 large pads of Koh gen Do. It's very inexpensive, organic, very easy to wick, no boiling, no fuss and no muss.

    Question Regarding Mech Circuits

Yep, the wire melts well beyond the excessive paranoid "fusing the switch". The coil will pop, saw this a couple of times back when I first started building long before I even got into Mech's. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    Question Regarding Mech Circuits

Personally I feel much more safer on a Mech for I'm responsible for my own safety. Not some chip mass produced in a Factory with slave wage workers. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    Kryton

The Kryton RDA, I wasn't impressed and there's better RDA's out there IMO.

    Last Forever

Yeah I did have the same from the 80's myself, don't have them anymore (long sorted story which involves an ex-wife). I did buy a small wrench and screw driver set of Craftsman in the late 2000's, pure Chinese Crap! Anyway when it comes down to Vaping tools I shop around the quality Jewelers...

Yep, I bought a wide range of grub screws and keep them on hand. While quality gear like from Kennedy don't cheap out there are many that do. I've had to replace many from grub screws from Wotofo, Geek Vape, etc. Yep have a set of Wiha myself, excellent tools. You hear a lot of .....ing...

    Cotton taste when I vape

Koh gen Do was my mainstay until Cotton Bacon Prime nudged it out, never was thrilled with CB V2. As for Rayon, can't stand the taste nor the dry throat it gives me, yes I didn't it right and used Sally's.

    Cotton taste when I vape

Missing a lot of critical details here like what cotton and Brand are you using? Cottonballs, Japanese Cotton, Organic Cotton, Supima, Cotton Bacon V1, V2 or Prime, Native Wicks, Kendo, etc., etc., etc.? Pictures of your wicking would also greatly assist.

    Efficiency - Round vs Clapton

Not to mention longer ramp up time and heat retention, fattest wrapping wire I will use is 36g and even that is only on rare occasions. You do have to be more careful with 38g+ (especially 44g) but I've found it easy to wrap since you must use a light touch so it wraps very easy. A headloop...

    Question Regarding Mech Circuits

If the contacts weld together you've got much bigger problems than the coils, much bigger problems. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    Question Regarding Mech Circuits

Catastrophic is really an exaggeration. Catastrophic is a thermal runaway which would be very difficult since if there was a short the hit would be beyond nasty thus one would release the switch. Not enough time to cause thermal runaway let alone even venting. Unless of course one would have it...

    Question Regarding Mech Circuits

Always check on an Ohm Meter. With that said if it's loose your ohms will jump around and you can tell. If it does short you'll get a very nasty burnt hit. So again you will be able to tell. But if you check on an Ohm Meter first and I also test all new builds on a regulated mod first you're...

    Efficiency - Round vs Clapton

All depends on wire mass, my wrapping wire is 38g - 44g so it doesn't take anymore power than if I was running bare wire Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

    I'm bored with vaping...

I've mentioned this a number of times throughout the forum that I'm very selective these days. All I see coming out of China now is just over hyped relabeling of the same old crap. What I've been doing over the last year is replacing mediocre gear with quality gear and that is rarely now. Sent...

    I'm bored with vaping...

Me, I'm not as passionate as I was for the first couple of years. But I still love Vaping and fully enjoy the hobby side.
