    A couple things here Get rid of that battery, get the Samsung 20S or Sony VTC5A (The Sammy 20S is best though) Wire and wire mass counts a lot, I run SS Fused Claptons with wrapping wire from 38g - 40g or so

    I use 30g and 32g a lot for the core wires with my fused Claptons, works rather well. When wicking you just need to insure you hold the coil stable with your thumb fingernail and just be a bit careful, that and insure you don't pack it too tight.

    First off if it's smoking something is seriously wrong. If you're talking about Vape getting hot you might want to try turning down the power and Vape lower.

    Anyway on topic, yeah a single parallel coil would be a decent vape. I use a fused clapton with Yeah I used to agree with that until I got the Fogworx Slider, that is the best performing single coil RTA I've ever Vaped on.
