I'm planning on building a similar build to Milo's but I don't really like the top firing button too much. What do you guys think about using something similar to this metal button switch - HD METAL PUSHBUTTON, N.O. MOMENTARY | AllElectronics.com
I was also thinking of using the flush buttons...
There was a thread that I cannot find now that talked about doubling back and twisting the legs on your coil to reduce the resistance of the legs. I thought it was a great idea but haven't tried it yet...
If I could start all over, I would buy one or two iTaste VV 3.0(~$30-50) or a single MVP 2($40-70). Then I would buy 3-4 EVOD BCC($6-8 ea) tanks so you can have a rotation of juice. Both of those devices support micro-usb charging and pass through so you could use on the go and charge in your...
I sent this in a PM but checked the rules and figured i'd post it here as well in case it helps others -
I bought the stainless steel because of the problems I read about other finishes. Another negative is with 510 connections like the protank 2 I've found devices aren't sitting fully flush. I...
Hah! thanks!!
I bought an RSST and the mesh off of your first post, that's a great price.
Regarding the 33.3hz, yes you can slightly hear it but I prefer the vape from the vamo vs the itaste VV. Also, 11 watts max and 3a max output on the MVP might limit you with the RSST.
I have both the itaste VV 3.0 and a Vamo v5 Stainless steel. I've been using the vamo exclusively and let my wife use the itaste vv. I actually like the vape of the vamo better as it seems to fire the coil up to temp quicker. I have been rebuilding protank coils and using them at 9-13w or so...
I just bought a magneto and a smoktek scar. Really easy to build with thumb screws - first time I made a dual microcoil with 9/10 wraps and it came out right at a combined 1ohm resistance. The flavor and vapor production is crazy! Not much support for the scar or modding it on the forums that...
I started with the itaste VV and wish I got the MVP instead. 800mah just isn't enough for me. I just bought a magneto with a Smoktech Scar yesterday and while it is fun to play with dripping and a rebuildable with lower ohm coils, I'm still using the VV and vamo v5 most of the time. At least...
I've been at it for 3 weeks and just bought my first mechanical mod (magneto). Probably $400 including itaste VV, Vamo, batteries, charger, kanthal, cotton, and about 20 different juices. I knew it could become a hobby but didn't think i'd start tinkering so quickly :)
