I build on the same tfv4 rba .....wicking this thing can be a Lil tough to get right....what ya wanna do is have your Cotton cut a Lil lower than the build deck ,get it fluffy an spread it out on the deck put about 10% of the cotton in the juice well and the other 90% stays on the deck...

I think the blue screwdriver. The tank comes with is 2 mm....it will work to twist coils but you will have to make more wraps to get the ohms where ya want them.....
The subtank mini is a good tank and rba I think you will be real happy with it...I would try about 8 wraps of 28g. Kanthal wraped around a 2.5 mm bit...(should be around 1.5-1.8 ohms) hope this helps! I use the subtank mini as my "at work" vape.
The tfv rba is just plain tricky to get to wick....I have had all the same problems.....ya want a lot of cotton on top of the deck to prevent leaking and a Lil cotton in the juice well to help it wick properly.... hope this helps( I build dual coils in the single coil rba ) this has worked the...
I just build a dual coil on the single coil tf-r1 RBA deck. 26 gauge with Ten wraps at 1.5 mm (.54 ohm) both coil sit side by side. THIS IS THE BEST BUILD I HAVE HAD IT THIS RBA SO FAR. And I have tried allot of builds in this rba.....they all ether hit dry after a few pufs or leak like a female...
I use the rba...but for the prebuilt put a few drops of juice directly into the coil and fill the tank then let it sit for a few min to soak up juice before firing it off....also start at lower watts an work your way up....
