    Have you tried prying the center pin of the battery up a bit? Use a small jewelers flat head or a toothpick and pry the pin up and around.

    Ephro.....I have both and I prefer the Ephro. My Tobeco caused me much grief when I got it and tried to make my first build. I thought I was never gonna get the tiny screws undone. After some minor surgery I did manage to loosen them but had to replace them cuz' they were wrecked.

    I make pre-mixed bases all the time and like you do not care if there is a slight discrepancy in the nic level since it's minute. You didn't mention how large you were going to mix? 30ml, 50ml, 120ml? There is such a small amount of flavoring added that I don't worry about the pg/vg levels...
