Reminds me of when Wifey got her hair cut in a "trendy" style, many years ago. When I got home, she asked me "How do you like it?". The only reply I could come up with at the moment was "Well, at least it will grow out." It was pretty doggone cold in our house for a few days after that....- Brewzz

That's kind of the thought I had with the powder coating, Black on the main body and the top cap, and leave the tank area and maybe the bottom cap plain stainless.- Brewzz

Not sure how the baking temps would affect any non-removable parts, but powder coating might be an option. the parts you don't want coated, like those in contact with liquid and the atty section, can be shielded from the coating process.
