If it's just the tip of your tongue, consider how you position it when you vape. Is it directly in the stream of incoming vapor? Maybe you could learn to position it differently.
The ones I've been getting lately have been swimming in primer fluid, so I've been rinsing them off in hot tapwater, blowing a couple mouthfuls of warm water through them, then blowing through them until they sound dry.

I think the type of smoker you are has a bit to do with the answer, as well. If you smoke a half pack of ultra-lights per day, start with a standard kit. If you smoke 3 packs of Belomorkanals every day, don't waste your time and money. Go straight for a mod and some high-nic juice.
Cool, you should post the results. I think the ECF business cards look really nice, but I'm not so sure that they answer a lot of the questions you get in the "bar scenario", where you have people with a lot of questions. It's always better to have more options.
