    I personally don't use 901's with 3.7v, it just doesn't cut it for me but I use a 510 adaptor with 901 threaded sources and it's perfect :).

    You'll probably need some epoxy to secure the atty connector since the plastic on most battery boxes is too thin to hold it well enough just by press-fitting. The nikostik tutorial gives you most of the info you need only the power is coming from the usb cable instead of the battery; just a case...

    CR2 blew up in face

    I've had CR2's short circuit and all they seem to do is get very hot and expand. Anyway, I thought protection didn't help with short circuits. Lifepo4 is the solution to this right?
