    510's (tho' I don't own one, yet) do run hotter than most other atomizers. IIRC the original design had to be changed after complaints about how hot they got. For what it's worth I've run 901's/4075's and 801's for a few months on 5volts/1amp with no deaths, 6volts did kill them though...
