The silver bullet allows you to use two cr2 batteries at the same time giving six volts which will increase the heat at the atomizer, this in turn produces a harsher throat hit and can with some juices increase the flavour and vapour which is why some people like it. The downside is that some...
Nothing will happen without an atty on, the circuit needs to be complete. Best just wait for one to come than risk shorting the unit out using other methods unless you know someone with a multimeter.
The only problem I had with VG was it made me feel hungry all the time..well an empty feeling in my stomach, sort of related to the digestion problems you've experienced. The problems I had with PG were muscle pain but that was fixed by increasing fluid intake AND eating bananas - I eat one a...
My voice went a bit croaky for a couple of months after I switched - wasn't dryness because I was drinking gallons of water and tea, it wore off eventually, I think it's just part of the change of cell regeneration and healing that happens when you stop smoking.
It is almost the same size and weight as putting an double A battery onto an atomizer. Airflow is slightly better than a silver bullet and equivalent to a regular 510 battery.
Just a note, as you get older the microvilli or what we call taste-buds don't completely regenerate, down to about 50% of what we have when we're young which would explain the differing experiences - and kids intolerance to strong tastes.
I see what you mean about the build, you can see the led light bleeding out of the rough edges in http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/6600/dsc00941g.jpg
It's still a 100% improvement on the look of the old stick with speaker grill (lol).
There are cheaper alternatives obviously, if you want cheap get a DSE905 an adaptor and some 14500's from deal extreme - I wasn't happy with that setup and preferred a regular 510 battery but they require swapping/charging every 90 minutes. I paid the premium for the luxury of long consistant...
For size to capacity ratio it's the best PV on the market, it doesn't look out of place when you're using it outside and the charger is super quick considering the capacity. Yes its expensive vs a regular 510 kit but it is worth the extra for the convenience. I'll probably buy a second set just...
Just tried the Janty branded atty that came with the Ego on a 510 battery and it works fine, unsurprisingly, there shouldn't be any technical difference between the Janty branded and vanilla Joye 510's. Probably some dirt/juice issue since the connection on the Ego has a greater surface area it...
Me too, I almost feel cheated I don't have to put fresh batteries on - performance is fantastic and actually beats new 14500's in a mod..there's more to the ego than just a regular lithium cell.
