Ehpro was where I saw the v2.5. Since discontinuing production of the single airflow hole design, perhaps they started calling these one v2's. Tobeco was where I saw info about the upcoming v3. I will look again tomorrow and get some links for the info I was going from
The V2 does NOT have dual airflow. The V2.5 does, and the V3 hitting soon will also. I really wish the vendors would start labeling these things correctly to help folks avoid these issues when troubleshooting.
And then you'll find yourself wanting to try some more "exotic" builds. maybe something like .0000012 ohm octocoils, with 163 twisted strands of 99 awg kanthal, in the shape of a unicorn running in the clouds. LoL. Well not really , but you get the point I'm sure.
After just over nine months of vaping I feel like sharing my story. I started off November 2013 vaping. I purchased a Kangertech Evod kit with a 900mah battery and some 12mg 50/50 juice. Bought my Ol' Lady the same setup as well. The girl behind the counter went through everything with us and...
Being curved is part of the trouble. That will create an uneven current flow and cause "hot spots". It's not that bad really. Are you leaving your mandrel in the coil while placing it and securing it? If not try that way. That will help you keep the coil straight and even.
Did you change the coil diameter box to 3mm? Also the leg length can make a difference as well. Have you tried to duplicate any simple builds from YouTube videos?
I've done this. lol. Took a big ol lunger from my KF, and ripped it in there. Was so thick I thought it might actually freeze. It didn't, but was still fun to try.
For a single just pick one. For a double pick duel. I always forget if it's parallel or series, so stone else can chime in on that. I don't use the calculator anymore myself. Also do a search on YouTube for single coil patriot build, and you'll see step by step. Don't forget to set your coil...
What drip tip are you using, what voltage/wattage are you running, what RDA are you using? All of that can make a difference. Longer drip tips can help, as can different materials it's made from. Lower voltage/wattage can sometimes help. Some RDA's from my understanding are just prone to run...
:confused:As the title says, interested in some choices for a decent dripper for someone with some experience building. I have built coils for my Kanger heads for about 6 months, and I currently use Ehpro KFL+ V2's which I build for. I am not looking to do crazy builds at .0001 ohm with 17...
I agree 110% with TamiP. I started off with an Ego Kanger EVOD kit. Stayed with same battery, and moved to Kanger Protank 2's. Then I moved to rebuilding those coils. After a couple of months I moved to trying cartomizers and carto tanks. Found those werent for me and back to the Protank's. Then...
