    No problem. If you want inexpensive better lighting, you can use desk lamps aimed at matte finish white poster board sheets out of frame to bounce more light into frame. It will save from harsh shadows, and much cheaper than studio lighting kits.

    Is it a dripper or a tank? A dripper has to pretty much always be fully upright if the wick is moist at all.

    Really would need to know what topper you are using and if it is prone to leaking at any other times, such as sitting for any length of time or when laid on it's side, or held upside down.

    Sounds like you understood it just fine. The second type makes it more difficult to get the oring in and out, whereas the first type the oring is actually prone to just falling out/getting stuck on the top section of the chimney.
