Vodka used to be a staple of thinning liquids back in the day. A lot of people used it. I havn't read anything since then that would suggest it's not advisable.
Makes me nostalgic for the simpleness of 5 years ago. Set your voltage at 2 volts over the resistance of the coil and vape away. Wattage has a lot to answer for !!!
All of the above + I remember, back in the day, trying new flavours (always ready made - DIY was a year away) and being amazed that my vape could taste of custard or strawberries or caramel or.... It was a time that was very close to when i smoked and the sheer novelty of my 'cigarette' tasting...
A little splash of this, a drop or two of that. After a while you get a feel for what flavours work together.
I am asked to make liquids for friends and i basically smell and taste as i go, adding whatever's needed to get a nice rounded flavour. And as a last resort, tiny amounts of lemon...
DL causes me to wheeze and produce phlegm (just like when i smoked). MTL causes me no problems. So i don't DL.
I've always maintained that the dosage makes the poison. A vaper inhaling 20-30ml of e-liquid a day is always going to be straining their body more than a 5ml a day vaper. Your lungs...
I've vaped in TC on many devices just to get a feel for what 420F felt like. It's actually a hotter vape than my regular kanthal coil using VW.
At that point i'd satisfied myself that my regular set up was probably not getting hotter than recommended (over 450F) and went straight back to VW.
TC...
The burning question is... IF they divided the samples into those who used 50% PG and those who used 50% VG, what was in the other 50% ? Is there another product other than VG & PG used for e-liquid ?
I'm confused o_O
....Participants were randomized to a four-week intervention with e-cigs...
What an extraordinary concept you have towards cigarette taxes. The tax is levied because the product causes harm. That tax is (supposedly) a way for the government to pay for the harm caused by the state sanctioned product. If the money is not spent on the consequences of smoking then there is...
That is a lot of statements that appear to contradict common wisdom. I'm not sure if i'm understanding correctly, are you stating that cigarettes do not cause disease and do not contribute to early death ?
My doctor's opinion (based on science) is that my heart disease was directly caused by my...
There should not be one penny of tax money paid for medical expenses paid for smoking related issues.
o_O
Not sure if i'm understanding your sentence correctly. There appears to be too may 'paid's which is confounding my sense of understanding.... Are you suggesting tax revenue on cigarettes...
Is this true though ?
Historically those who try vaping often go back to cigarettes, i know a lot of people who dual use or vape only sporadically. A lot of smokers find vaping too complicated or not as satisfying as combustible tobacco and need several attempts before a permanent switch. This...
Bizzarely i recently stopped vaping for 24 hours and i now have deafness in both ears and a 'full' feeling in both ear canals.
The two flights probably didn't help...
Your lungs self-clean continuously. Your car doesn't.
It's like leaving ketchup on a plate for 4 years and then being startled that it has turned into a ball of mould. Then assuming your stomach must be full of mould.....
Education. It's not just for children.
From a purely neutral perspective i can see why this argument would make sense. I can also see massive holes in their rationale.
If long term studies have not been carried out to prove e-cigarettes are safe(r) then equally there are no long term studies to prove otherwise..
And the whole...
I'm a one-issue voter. I voted for the UK to leave the EU purely based on the illogical and knee-jerk regulations bought in for vaping products.
I spent a LOT of time researching the subject and came to the conclussion that the people who were pushing the regulations had zero knowledge of the...
ECS - electronic cigarette smoke.....
The article in the link constantly refers to vapour as smoke. Either these scientists are ignorant of correct terminology (which opens a whole new can of worms) or there's more to the study than meets the eye.
At this point i have decided to refer to all...
Well if i were a spin-doctor those results would clearly mean that vaping zero nic e-liquid was beneficial to health. Hell, you could even go so far as to state that vaping protects you from cancer.
AND
Vaping with nic e-liquid was no worse than breathing air.
The trouble is we're not mice....
