Well i've just got back from the pub and i have to say.... Impressive wrapping skills.......................................
:toast:
Although i am drunk.
I bought a 'pico' off Ebay last year. It was a fair copy but little details didn't fit. The top cap was too thin, the finish just a bit off and the buttons too stiff. The sort of things you wouldn't pick up on if you'd never had a genuine one. First thing i did was attempt to download firmware...
AAAAh the good old days when VG was considered an optional extra (cough cough)!
Half a dozen years ago the predominent ingredient was PG and was listed first. Nowadays the reverse is true and so VG is listed first. Makes sense to me.
Pretty much every mod i've bought because of the looks (or gimmicks) has ended up having issues. To quantify this i generally go for the 'on sale' or budget type devices. They all live in my 'box of shame' in the loft next to the Boge cartos, knock-off clearomisers, rolls of titanium and nickel...
This whole thread just about sums up the state of play in the vaping industry today.
OP - would you be concerned that you'd left your 'phone on charge for a couple of hours ? What about your toothbrush, shaver, mp3.........
Time to start looking for a device you have confidence in perhaps.
(and...
1) E liquid too runny - try a thicker (higher VG) liquid.
2) Adjust your inhale, you may be flooding the coil by too strong a drag or vise versa
3) Increase your wattage - you may not be vaporising all the liquid causing flooding
4) Check all o rings are sealing
5) It's a piece of cr*p
Couldn't agree more when it comes to 'cigarette' flavours. I prefer my RY2 once my taste buds are a little dulled. Before that i get too much caramel, after that i get a dull biscuity/armpit flavour. A bit like a real cigarette.
However when it comes to bakery / fruit etc then vapers tongue is...
C'mon people. They call themselves 'Smok' - the clue's in the name.
On a serious note; MY personal experience is that Smok products are prone to failure at a higher rate than other of the bigger brands. Not necessarily catastrophic failure but poor QC. I put this down to the volume and...
I bought one when they went on 'flash sale' and use it regurlarly in wattage mode. I was underwhelmed by the TC function on stainless coils but used as a wattage only device i like it. My only gripe is that it's so small i often find i'm blocking the airflow of my attie !
Maybe you should stop chasing the 'flavour'.
Treat vaping as an alternative to smoking - what flavour are your cigarettes ? From memory mine tasted like ash and poison.....
When i switched from smoking to vaping i just wanted an alternative method of putting nicotine into my body to stop the...
A LOT of people will disagree with the following statement but..... I buy the Trustfire 18500 1300mAH (realistically around 950 mAh) button tops from FastTech for my Provaris and they work superbly. A full days vaping at 13 watts on one battery. About the same as i was getting from my AWs. The...
You may want to google how a Li-ion battery is made.
Layers of *stuff* is wrapped like a jam roly poly with an insulator between the *stuff*. If the insulation layer has been compromised then you could potentially get a short circuit which could potentially induce a spontanious release of the...
Depends on the flavouring. Some flavours have a strong 'perfumey' or chemical smell when fresh, these i steep with the top off until the odour has gone. All others i steep with the lid on and an occasional shake (when i remember). Some flavours should not be allowed to 'breathe' - the flavouring...
I very much doubt anyone has tested batteries pre-soaked in e-liquid so you'll have to go with your gut instinct.
Using logic i would suggest that e-liquid around the battery would make absolutely no difference to their efficiency. They're sealed units.
I suspect that's going to be a busy site.......
Though to be fair any manufacturer pumping out product as quickly as Smok is going to have quality issues.
