Working At Home = Vaping Up A Storm

I've stepped up from 3-4ml a day to 6-8ml a day whilst working from home and i've noticed that i'm wheezing a LOT. Nothing that a good cough wont sort out though..... I am amazed when i hear of people who are vaping 20-30ml a day and can still function. I think i may go from 12mg back up to 18mg.

UK Lockdown for at least 3 weeks.

I've had two people this week asking for nic base so they can DIY (i stocked up prior to the TPD). Am now struggling as to whether i go down the No route - 'you should have prepared', or the Yes route, 'i'm a nice guy'. Need to find a middle ground - 'i would but am unable to deliver it because...

Ex heavy smoker (damn the 'EX' sounds good)

Welcome and congratulations. There are a lot of good people on ECF who can give great advice to any questions you may have. Smok are not really thought of as good devices around here but i know a lot of people who have successfully stopped smoking with their pod systems. Enjoy them and enjoy...

Can I get some help getting setup please?

I use either a 2.5mm Kanthal with .3mm wire touching coil at around 1.4 ohms or a spaced SS coil .28mm at 0.6 ohms. They both work for 12 - 20w range.... I took a punt on this tank purely because it was so cheap and was very surprised at how well it works. Some people have commented that the...

Can I get some help getting setup please?

Too many mods to mention - just go for a well known brand like Aspire, Innokin or even Eleaf or spend a bit of time reading reviews for newer brands.. The tank that has surprised me with it's total leak-proofness is; Authentic VXV Soulmate RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (FastTech). Top fill, easy...

    Update from Fast Tech

Please bear in mind that any 'ETA' from FT is a pure guess on their part. I've had ETAs that keep increasing up to the point where they become 'discontinued' after a couple of months. Then you recieve the email asking if you want a refund (hell, yes) or to pick something else (er, no - if i...

Manvap® Beeble 150W Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit

What everyone wants is a well-made, reliable, practical and easy to use device that looks good. The trouble is looking good is subjective. To me the mod looks like it was designed by someone who wants it to appeal to children (and a non-vaper to boot).. From my experience smaller devices are a...

Manvap® Beeble 150W Electronic Cigarette Starter Kit

A clunky block that only has 3 settings. Toggle switches which will be knocked everytime it's moved and makes the device un-pocketable, unnecessary internal LEDs and the smallest fire button available. 50% bigger than it needs to be. I'm just not seeing your customer base. I'll let others...

New to DIY, check out my first order please

Pretty much how i started - now i order VG & PG in gallons, flavourings in 100mls and the highest nicotine available. I begrudge paying someone else to dilute the nicotine !

    Aegis Solo Not Working

I'd be more inclined to question the waterproof rating of the device than to consider the battery venting. If you're vaping a tank rated at 50+ watts at less than half that i would expect the tank to leak. You wont be vapourising all the liquid and the coil will be flooding. This will then find...

    How to reduce vape consumption

My gut feeling on the volume of liquid / amount of nicotine has always been to inhale as little liquid vapour as possible while getting enough nicotine to satisfy. It stands to reason that the more product you suck into your lungs, the more work they have to do to metabilse the VG/PG. Apart from...

Still Hunting for Button Top Batts for my Provari

With the ProVari Classic i believe there were different boards used (by design or in error). The P3 board does have built-in protection, the 2 & 2.5 don't. Hence the need for button tops in the 2 & 2.5. The reality is that anyone who can tell one end of a battery from the other could bypass the...

Still Hunting for Button Top Batts for my Provari

If it works then it's good. The only reason button top batteries are needed in older ProVaris is because there is no electronic reverse polarity protection built-in. The button top is required to make contact with the recessed positive pin. (Apologies if i'm preaching to the converted). The amp...

    Clear something up for me...

Well the vape clerk has a degree of knowledge and that always spells trouble. If he had said vaping 50ml of 3mg is the same as vaping 25ml of 6mg he'd have been right. Wattage is irrelevant and can't be used to determine nicotine intake. The only factors which do are the strength of the liquid...

Who is our longest term vaper? Relates to long term effects

Forgotten how long i've vaped for. At least since all you could get were cigalikes which worked out more expensive than smoking. Do not miss the cough. Or the wheezing. Or the constant coldsores i used to get. Or the 3 month bouts of sore throats and colds. Quite frankly, even if vaping turned...
