The high cost of vaping. Better not to start or even quit?

Well, no wonder I was surprised, just checked my figures and they were wrong, I've spent more than I've saved, but I wont need to buy liquid for a helluva long time now, and what I've spent includes a kit for my wife. Anyway the health benefits are priceless and I am enjoying it so much it is...

The high cost of vaping. Better not to start or even quit?

Eastmall took 2 weeks this time, last delivery was 6 days, the previous was 10 days, it seems a little random but this was the longest, I was getting a bit worried.

    SAA Ban on e-cigs

Just flew to India and back on SAA, my 510 worked well for stealth vaping, useful at the airports as well. Once I got to somewhere smoking was allowed I could pull out my 801's and make some big clouds.

The high cost of vaping. Better not to start or even quit?

Well, I recently added up what I've spent on vaping, I suspected I might have spent more on it than I would have on smoking, as I've bought lots of atomizers, batteries, a PCC and a USB passthrough, as well as parts for a homemade passthrough and various bits and pieces. Surprisingly I have...

We are on the new server - glitches expected!

I haven't been able to browse the site since Saturday, pages take literally 5 minutes to load, but now I'm browsing through an anonymous proxy, Anonymouse.org, I can browse just fine? I'm in South Africa but it doesn't seem to be affecting all members from here.

    Dilluting liquids/juice

Thanks for the offer, but I'll keep trying to find a local solution, it's only food grade nylon mesh, there must be somewhere selling it for filters or something, and anyway the normal teabags are already a lot better than the standard filling.

    Dilluting liquids/juice

I think 801's are too big for half a teabag, sorry I was talking about 510's when I said about that, with the 801's what I do is use a small square, less than one quarter of one side, to make a cap to cover the filling material. I use fishtank filter stuff for the filling. You could try putting...

    Dilluting liquids/juice

Yes, all the types I've tried so far work, the trick is to roll them tight or loose enough so they hold a good amount of liquid but don't leak too much, no more burnt fibers, try it. I just cut the seams off the bag, fold once then roll it to the desired width, cut to length then put it in the...

    Dilluting liquids/juice

The normal ones are working fine for me too, I heard the pyramid ones were better, but I still haven't been able to get any, my sister bought some in England but they are not the same as the ones in the USA.

Improved lung function after 4 months vaping

Hi, I've just returned from my doctor and my lung function has increased noticeably since I last had the test in April. In April I was still smoking about 10 a day and had been vaping since February, at the end of April I smoked my last cigarette and have not had one since. My reading in April...

    Amazing turnaround time!!

I'm also in South Africa, just received my order this morning at my door after placing my order Friday afternoon, not bad. My last order took 10 days, but 6 is more normal, been buying since January, almost every month.

    Lungbuddy

Hi, you can use any liquid from a reputable supplier, it will be much cheaper than buying cartridges which will probably not last anything near the same as 15 cigarettes. Identify your model when you get it and read through the forum to find model specific discussions regarding cartridges and...

    Good Prices here

Here is the link, Cig-E, have you tried their liquid? It does seem cheap, and they are just up the road from me, I think I'll invest 50 bucks and try some.

    Online VS Local

I'm still mostly buying all my stuff from China, but the minimum order is $50 for hardware and $100 for liquid, plus $15 shipping. The local suppliers are getting more affordable, I've noticed the difference in the few months I've been vaping, but I guess some people are wary of buying online. I...

    Stockists of Screwdriver type PV's?

Congratulations Vaporista, it took me a few months but I haven't looked back. For me the trick was to have quite a few devices and plenty of liquid.

Any SA stockists of tested/ ingredient disclosed e-liquids?

I use 801's and 510's, pros and cons with both models. I'd say the biggest markup over here is on liquid, you would be able to sell 36mg, which is not available locally, pretty easily. Can you get 48mg or higher strengths over there? I've only seen it available from USA sites.

Any SA stockists of tested/ ingredient disclosed e-liquids?

A pack of 20 Dunhill, which I was smoking, cost about R25, but there are brands available for under R15. The prices from Twisp and Njoy are ridiculous, so I generally buy direct from China, or from The Electronic Cigarette Store.

    Asthma attack

I had an asthma attack last Saturday, the first one I've had, and very nearly died. A couple of days earlier I got a little tight chested when exercising, which was unusual, then I developed a sore throat the next day, which led to sneezing and a runny nose, then by the Friday I was quite chesty...
