    I think it is the fact that you've got the cart in, yes. When you notice an auto cleaning cycle kicking off remove the cart rather than unscrewing the battery. That should burn the crud off the atomiser without it tasting horrible afterwards.

    Yep, they're refillable. You can either drip into the mouthpiece of the cartridge making sure you don't drip into the hole at the side of the inner cart or use a paperclip or something through the hole at the bottom to lift the inner cartridge up so it's easier to drip into.

    I thought I'd have a poke in the cart for this as I've got a really tiny allen key that's perfect for lifting the inner cart up. I've no doubt a paperclip or pin would be just as good. It's really easy to refill then. See here.

    Good choice Suzi. The EVO is a nice bit of kit. I've got 70 menthol carts on order from them. I'm getting some penstyle carts from smokester too so I should be sorted for Christmas. :) Just gotta get rid of the cold I've got that's kept me off work today.

    Vegetable Glycerine. It's commonly used in baking. Certainly here in the UK you can find it in the baking section of supermarkets. You can use it instead of propylene glycol to create the smoke like vapour.
