What to do with Crazy Wire?

Thanks @Boden That's very useful, and clearly say the DNA40 can be built down to 0.1, but that still needs 16wraps or 33wraps for a dual coil?

What to do with Crazy Wire?

I'd like to know what the lowest ohms I can SAFELY build TC coils in a DNA40? I can't get my head around building lower than 0.2 as it's getting very close to no resistance = short :danger:

What to do with Crazy Wire?

Thanks @Boden That's what I figured. I've got several ohms meters, and a DNA40. I've done a couple of single coil TC builds using 30g Ni200, but don't understand what I can use this clapton wire for? How low can you safely build a DNA40, I'd always tried to keep it above 0.2 ohms. But even...

What to do with Crazy Wire?

So I made an online purchase today: 5meters 30g Kanthal, 24g Ni200, Clapton Wire It was less than $10 USD for I pulled the trigger. Now can someone tell me what I'm going to do with it? How do. You work out the resistance of Clapton wire? I assumed the Kanthal is not carrying the current...

Thinking about buying the Istick 40w TC, need input!

    Fairplay, I wouldn't use a material I was allergic to either. :)

Is vaping at over 10w dangerous for health??

There was quite a lot there for your friend to get a handle on, but once he understands ohms law, and the variables added by changing both the wire gauge and number of coils, he will then need to consider the user input. You don't hit the power button and simply watch it vape. Actively pulling...

    Vapers fatigue

Another advantage is the unflavoured is completely clear, so wicks and coils last much longer.

    Vapers fatigue

I have extreme VT. Have had since the second week of vaping, some five months now. Some days I can't taste the vape at all, others I can but it's very muted. It is rare that I can taste all the flavours. I have now found that if I vape unflavoured for a day or two, when I go back to flavoured...

@ringling Can I ask why you refuse to vape TC Ni200?

    Do you know any vapers?

I've converted a couple of anolog smokers at work and we now have a growing vaping clique. Actually vaping is incredibly popular here in Malaysia, I'd say 30% of the people loitering in the smoking area outside my office are now vaping rather than smoking. The sad thing is that there is...

    Regulateds are better than mechs

Analogs and TP are so last century. Been using this for the last 3 years. My posterior would now welcome TP as much as sand paper. :p

    Need something above ohm

Lol. That's such bad advise. I hope. You were joking. The shower cap will only melt once the fire is either directly under the detector or raging a full blaze in your apartment. Do it if you want to disable the detector, but don't kid yourself that you still have a fire detector.

    Vaping in 112 degree heat.

+1 For the Kayfun It averages 90+F here all year round, and normally about 90% humidity. Never had an issue with the Kayfun going from aircon to outside.

Flying through Singapore in transit and need advice

If you're just changing planes in SG I would of thought you'd be okay. Why not call the airline and ask, as vaping is perfectly legal in both the US and Malaysia. But I agree to be safe, and if you're not staying in Malaysia for very long, bring a cheap setup you don't mind losing. Edit: Let...
