fair enough- I'll explain- I should have been more clear
Range 4V-5V
Setting | Duration | Average
LED 1 | 00:21.8 | 4.1002 V DC
LED 2 | 00:24.9 | 4.2993 V DC
LED 3 | 00:25.9 | 4.4290 V DC
LED 4 | 00:24.0 | 4.4978 V DC
LED 5 | 00:28.2 | 4.5704 V DC
LED 6 | 00:20.5 | 4.6470...
You're misreading the data- Each line is the average voltage recorded over "duration" of me pressing the power button - each line is a different voltage setting on the EQ-
the first line corresponds to the lowest setting (4V range, LED 1).
the second line corresponds to the second lowest...
Well- either it was one of the short circuit tests I ran or inserting the battery upside down- its all too easy to do with these MNKE's because the tops are flat.
I'd think that the device would protect from either - so this one- while minor has me a bit PO'd.
I suggest putting a piece of...
Well- I just had my spring collapse- fortunately I have some about the same size and the unit is functioning fine.
Anyone want to guess what caused it? It wasn't something I was deliberately testing....
It's real easy to do and I'm surprised the device doesn't protect against it (unless...
Careful with those twisted tips from Nhaler- I love them but they aren't always consistent... and they do melt... from what I can telk they fit (I've tried 3 of them) but the lower lip may sit against the vent holes in the eq adapter partially restricting the air flow-
The annodized aluminum...
What may be more of an issue is if you like using LR atties and want to be in the lower 4V range-
So against a 2 ohm load here's more data for you to chew on...
Duration is how long the power was applied and Average is the average voltage over that duration=
Duration | Average...
Mine are correct- I measured them at the atty connector with a Fluke 289 meter...and tested the provari as a reference.
Is not because the battery was fresh - in fact I needed to replace my battery by the time i was done testing.
Again, being off by a few hundreths of a volt - even a...
I wouldn't be too bothered by the voltage being slightly off- it's all relative- most of the increments are close enough to .1V for you to dial in what you want- it's just important to know if you are comparing two different devices.
Where I think this device shines is with higher power...
Short Circuit Warning-
Wanna know what your EQ will do when it detects a short?
When you press the fire button,
1) it won't fire
2) all LEDs and EQ button will flash-
Voltage measurements-
I've been reluctant to say the EQ hits harder than anything because it's VV and you have to compare apples to apples if you want to go down that road- So I pulled out my meter and ran some measurments-
Note: my meter is accurate out to 5 digits- YMMV-
this ought to give...
I measure by how much juice I vape per battery- I've been using it in rotation with MNKEs- not noticing any significant difference in amount of juice I go through between the MNKE and the AW IMRs.
I've dropped my provari MANY times, and broken many attys....
The only time I had to have it repaired was when I threw it (slammed might be a better term)... so It can be broken- but not easily through normal dropping/tipping.
I hear you on that- perhaps its something that reacts with the T&S in some juices - just saying it isn't happening with watermellon ... I'm looking at replaceable coils - it's infuriating to spend $3-$10 on a new atty because a nickle's worth of wick and wire gunks up or burns out. I've spent...
David took care of me- as always .... just a rare mix up.... ProVape battery on the way.
I'll do some side by side volume testing later in the week against a new IMR to give you an idea of how much longer % wise. Already sounds like a winner....
