1+ on the black cherry- it's a strong flavor too-
RE Tart and Sour- may be what you're mixing with, or how much you're using-
I'm not having problems with 1-2 drops per ml in combination with watermellon (LorAnn's mixed with PA) on HV attys. But with the KeyLime - it's killing my wallet-...
Glad you started this-
I've found some flavors deteriorate the coil- you can watch the resistance drop in a couple of days from 4.5 ohms to 1.5 ohms... One that's giving me a ton of grief is Key Lime flavoring from PA.
Back to work today... I had a few voltage resets yesterday - still not sure if it's me palming the touchpad, or something wrong the device.
I charged over night via USB and still got LED 7 & 8 in the AM- other than that, it seems to be operating properly.
Should be interesting to see how easy...
I don't think so- all it does is lock you out of the higher boost levels from what I understand. But I'm not lower voltage- I'm at 5.3V-5.4V... occasionally I use 4.5 attys at 6V, but I've been using the same 3.5 IKV since friday.
PS- it's two equations - really- just algebra:
V is voltage...
Perhaps- but now after 3+ days, I've been through 3 cycles on two MNKEs and a well broken in AW IMR - not noticing any real difference in run times. The IMR seems to give me about 7-8 hrs and close to 4ml on the ProVari. gives me between 2 and 3ml on the EQ. I'm going to try to charge an MNKE in...
Me and FOA go way back ;-)
I knew she wasn't taking a cheap shot, and to some extent she isn't incorrect. Sometimes shiping is more important than shipping a perfect product.
So what do we have so far for technical issues (leave features and subjective stuff out)?
1 instance of pump locking on- unrepeated.
A few random resets that may be attributed to low battery condition.
A few instances of irratic behavior that may be related to unintentional contact with...
You'll have to ask someone who's part of the hoopla- I think there is validity in some of the arguments - particularly that its conceptually easier to set your power level and let the device compensate, I think it's a novel idea but I don't think its the only way to skin the cat and I think some...

Good questions: I'll try...
It depends - you have to keep in mind, what we're really trying to do is regulate the temperature of the atty, not necessarily the power going to it. In open air, just the coil resistance varies by 10-15% in general as it heats up - less if you are using a custom...
That's pretty much correct.
Properly designed VV devices - lets include the eq- regulate voltage to a constant- not as simple as it sounds when you have a dynamic load. On paper you would see small fluctuations because I=V/R and because as the resistance changes, the current would change and...
Thanks Michael-
That was a pretty good explaination so don't sell yourself short. Your earlier comment yesterday where you said it didn't compensate threw us for a loop, so I'm glad you explained- I never expected constant power regulation but always expected that the regulator would clamp...
maybe- I just swapped batteries- it was down to the last LED but the eq light wasn't flashing. I'm wondering if there's a coincidence that it happens when the battery is low but before the eq light starts flashing. time will tell.
What are you guys seeing on the LEDs with fresh batteries? I...
