    Battery Voltages -- Surprise!

I don't have time to argue this or explain it... but that depends on the frequency and duty cycle of the pulses.. .and measuring two phase AC is completly different than measuring DC pulses - Even if your meeter is accurately telling you the amplitude of the pulses, unless you know the duty...

    Phidias celebration sale

Pick one atty, and battery combo - aim for around 8 Watts... Instead of feeding the bottom, unscrew the atty and drip ... do this until you get a feel for the way the drip works... unscrew the atty, squeeze a few drops from the phidias, screw your atty back in and fire....remember the phid...

    Battery Voltages -- Surprise!

Your meeter probably isn't set up to properly measure RMS voltages from pulsed DC waveforms (most aren't - unless they specifically say they are) - the readings you get may vary from others because of the meter you are using and how it reacts to pulsed signals- more important than how much it's...

    Phidias celebration sale

The right answer is technically no, you are not supposed to leave batteries unattended in a charger.... but I do it all the time.... One of the advantages of using LiMn (IMR's) or LiFePO4 batterys is that they won't explode or catch fire the way regular lithium ion batterys do. So its much...

    Phidias celebration sale

I spent months tracking and writing down voltage levels looking for anomolies... total waste of time unless you're looking for something in particular... couldn't agree more... put them in the charger and when the light turns green pull them out and use them... best to rotate through multiple...

    Phidias celebration sale

sorry for the delay- can't keep up with this thread ;-) yes- those are the right ones.... Not the AW's.... Generally I agree that AW's are better but there were a few reviews that this particular battery may be an exception. I've been using them without issue for almost a year.... FWIW: I...

Tenergy RCR123a LiFePO4 - they are not the same as the AW's... I use either 3.5 or 4.2 ohm attys with it - 306's, 801 mini's and 510's. only issue is you won't get a full day out of them....but something about the phidias/bottom feed combo at this voltage is unique.

6 Months Cig Free-Quit Zits Still?

Hey BB- I'm comming up on a year and still getting them- and I drink around a gallon of water a day, and get at least 1/2 an hr on the cross trainer. I think there's some relation to VG which seems to have other side effects as well on my digestion. I've been tinkering with my mixture a bit...

New york sales ban next steps

The whole tobacco products labeling opens another can of worms and posibly another battle. When you apply for insurance you're asked if you use/have used tobacco products in the last n months... if they don't explicitly call out e-cigs, your answer might depend on what state you live in when you...

    Ecig Retailer in Miami Beach?

I'm traveling for the weekend and ran into a snag (translated- Provari left in trunk of car at the airport in NY) ... I have an assortment of attys, juice, charger, 18650's but ...no device. Anyone know a retailer where I can pick up a couple of eGo's or dare I ask, an 18650 mod in the...

    ProVari Variable Voltage Mod

I've taken several apart... ... I suppose someone will argue that all that gunk is somehow conducting current, but that's kinda hard to swallow.... if anything I would think it's just acting as an insulator... without a CSI lab and a good background in metallurgy, I don't think there's much...

    Help with Provari.

Don't feel bad. I couldn't get the cartos to last more than a day with the MAP Tank mod- all my juices taste burnt and look gross.... even at 3.7V. Some people seem to swear by them, possibly something with the juice.

    ProVari Variable Voltage Mod

Thanks for the detailed explaination - so simply put- the lower resistance of the IMRs allow for less voltage drop on the output and less heat being generated...... All technobabble asside it's important to accept that there are always trade offs - after 4+ months of using a ProVari, I still...
