    I use an old Ryobi SA720 7.2V, the jaws can hold a single strand of 30g in the center when all the way closed. Picked up the one I'm using now from a thrift store for $6. Look mostly at the smaller drills, usually the smaller lower power drills will have a more precise chuck.
