That mark is an identifying mark of EPM pipes. It is caused by the vise we set them in to bore the connector hole.
Not all pipes have it, but many do. Softer woods like the one pictured are more prone to receiving this mark. If it bothers you we can fix or replace it.
Send it in for a free repair or you can glue it be with super glue. Go easy on the glue and have q tips handy for clean up if you try it your self.
And don't use gorilla glue....
Bottom feeders are a PITA. Building the connector and bottle hook ups is insane.
Plus they tend to leak, A LOT.Which is not good for wood at all. I think I'll leave that venture to Rio.
Machine time can be difficult to acquire. I think there is an online machine shop that will run stuff for a fairly reasonable rate, but machining is not cheap and requires quantity to reduce unit costs. In the future I hope to get a few more CNC machines so that I'm able to make some of these...
Sorry I have been elusive for past few days guys. Been feeling a bit worn out and spaced out. I'm taking a long weekend that will hopefully give me the rest and brain reboot that I need. Anyway, hope you guys have a relaxing weekend as well.
Oh, and pipes are up!
Pipes for Oct 18 Release 3 PM EST Part 2 of 2 (NOTE: I did accidentally repeat a pipe in Part 1. There are 3 elementals - a dwarven, a billiard, and a Rhodesian.)
