Glad you got it in time for your trip gibo993. From my experience, if you press the bottle just long enough to see a little juice pop up in the reservoir, just enough to fill the crack in the bottom of it, you may get a slight gurgle for one or two puffs but then all will be good. I want to concur, my door has never just "fallen off" and I have not been easy on my mini. As described before, if you want a little extra security for your own piece of mind, do the tape on the battery trick and fold the tab over the top of the battery.
