    I am in the process of making one with that very switch. If you look closely at that nut, it has a basic hex shape except for that very back portion that has the barbs to make it a locking nut. I just used a boxcutter to cut along the hex sides so that it has that hex shape all the way...

    I was thinking of starting another thread asking this very question. So far, I have been removing as much as I can from the led end, then using a mini pipe cutter to cut the connector out (I have not been able to wiggle or pry it out like I could with the 901). I would LOVE to hear from others...
