Possibly my favorite art form, the written word in novel format. Hurray for paperback writers! I will miss the tactile sensory input of real paper and ink when we finally, as a people, print the last hard copy book.
Likely, if you burnt the wick, it will be on the interior where you'd never be able to see it, not on the edges that are far away from the coil itself. But usually it isn't the wicking material, it's the coil itself that is covered in caramelized e-juice.

Under the coil there should be no juice. That will make the gurgling worse, and gives the juice access to the airflow valve holes (where it could leak out). You're right about that.
I've -never- cleaned a BVC coil. There are very mixed opinions on BVC coils and the issues with cleaning them...

I wouldn't sweat 4.99$ for that kit, and even buying two at that price, it's less than a day's worth of analogue cigarettes for me would have been. If you like the eroll, I think that sale is going to be the best price you'll ever see on it.
