I do hope you get the problem sorted. In case you do go shopping around again, avoid CE-style tanks. Try a bottom coil clearomizer at least. Here are some well-reviewed low priced suggestions, just pop them in the search on youtube and watch some reviews so you know what you're buying.

What is your VAMO set at? You haven't mentioned your power settings at all. Those CE-4's can't handle much. Set it to the lowest possible setting and try it there perhaps.
CE-4's are almost ancient technology now. While the VAMO is still a fine enough device, a better topper is in order if...
Very cool :) I'm hesitant to jump on the SMPL/Derringer train, I've never used a recessed switch or a hybrid so I'm not sure if I'd like it or not. But the form factor is amazing, and I imagine both in SS would be fairly durable as well. Nice setup!
I just hit 3mg this month (after doing something similar - switching to an RDA really makes the nic drop easy, for me). I'm sure somewhere down the line I'll drop further to 0mg, but that probably won't happen until I give DIY juice a try. It's inspiring to know that it was so easy for you to...
You could give the Excalibur a shot. Fairly new, authentic cigreen, low priced. Hybrid top and beefy magnets. Here's a link to the full copper, brass, and stainless/copper.

Infinite Magma would be high on my recommendation list. Extremely easy to build on, especially if you want to go single coil, and gives you plenty of airflow options (although it isn't the airiest even with the airflow control ring off). You won't go wrong with one. The other suggestions are...
Close to five months, from 24mg to 3mg in that span of time. I sort of "want" to drop to zero or somewhere in between at this point. Not sure if I will. Seems like a lot of people go through the same thing. My original intention was to stay at 24mg forever, boy was I wrong!
If you don't care about the mini pt 3, that's the one to take. The Nautilus Mini glass can be replaced with the sturdier steel+glass tanks for about $9 though, which makes it far more durable if you really want to take it out and about.

I think .1 is excessive for a VTC4 and I'd never build that low (looks like drawing 42 amps on a fresh batt) but I'm not a pro so I'm going to just say - be careful :)
Shortest mechs right now that are popular are the SMPL and the 4nine. They are hybrids (like the Stingray X with the adapter)...
Found this. Good info. The answer is generally "no" if you want to avoid problems. I shoulda searched harder before posting :)

I have a battery that won't make contact in my new Stingray clone, the wrapper on the bottom doesn't allow for the wider contact. It works fine though if I flip the battery. Just curious if this is safe in a mech - I realize it's a big problem in most regulated devices, but it seems like it...
Subtank mini seems like a fine choice for a first RTA because if you find out you don't like rebuilding, you can always use the stock heads (which are generally well liked anyhow).
The airflow settings determine the coil setup limitations, and even then a lot of dual coil airflow RDA's vape just fine with single coils in them. The Magma is really a solid atty for flavor though and is quite simple to build singles on as it is a two post design. They do have a tendency to...
You can build any kind of coil you like (within the limits of the size of the build deck) on any RTA. No such thing as a "sub-ohm" tank, only sub-ohm coils. The Subtank Mini does come with a rebuildable section, the NANO does not.
Protanks are chromed brass, Genitanks are chromed copper/brass. If you have an issue with chromed soft metal, avoid those as well.
Aerotanks V2 and up are all stainless, so those are an option to look into.
