First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

Nope, 22mm outter, flush fit for 90% of the atomizers out there :) It's a great design. Pic with a Magma on it. Magma is 22mm at the base (23 at the airflow ring). You can see it is flush at the base and the airflow ring is out further.

First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

Here is a very useful review of the Stingray X clone. Worth a read if you are interested in one. Stingray X Clone Review - Mechanical Mod | Vaping Cheap

First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

Difference between the original stingray and the stingray x clones: The original stingrays are slightly taller, have a somewhat different switch design, and come in several different configurations just like a Nemesis (Brass, Copper, Stainless, Mix, multi-tube, single tube, etc). Only comes...

Broke 2 Nautilus 5ml tank clearomizers in 2 days..

You could spend $18 and get two replacement tanks for your Nautilus'. That's a cheap alternative to buying fully new equipment. Aspire Nautilus Replacement Tank with Hollowed-Out Sleeve - Rock Bottom Vapes If you're buying new, only get the Subtank if you have a device that can utilize it (30w...

First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

You don't need a kick with unprotected batteries. It is safer to use a kick, yes, but it defeats the purpose of a mechanical mod. That statement is unimportant. IMR batteries are unprotected, and are the proper batteries for you to use, kick or not. There are several good Stingray X's for...

First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

Just make sure you're careful with the 4nine. With a hybrid you have to make sure your atty has a long enough 510 (one that goes out past the threads around it) otherwise you'll get a short which could be a real problem.

    mech for durability

I've heard a lot of good things about the Fasttech Launcher V2, might be worth a look. I'm going to spring for one myself fairly soon :) $17.64 Launcher V2 Telescopic Mechanical Mod - with logo at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Whatever you decide on, something that's stainless steel would...

First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

I chose the Stingray X for a few reasons over the Nemesis. First, it has a magnetic switch (stock - if I were to get a nemesis, I'd get the magnet upgrade for it anyhow). Second, it is a steel covered copper mod, so no penny smelling hands but all the great conductivity of copper. Third, it...

First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

Yes, you need to do your research before buying anything, authentic or clone. There are poor authentics, and poor clones. But there are also excellent examples of both. Infinite, Hcigar, Cigreen are well known clones that tend to have a high quality product. Some clone manufacturers also...

First mech mod: nemesis clone or magneto authentic?

There are many opinions on what the best clone is. Recently, the trend is the SMPL clones. There are many good answers though. My own research led me to the Stingray X instead of the Nemesis for my first mech. I probably would go for a Nemesis clone before a Magneto, but that's just an...

    Mech mail

I thought about grabbing one of those deep discount 4nine's, but I'm not a fan of hybrids (don't trust myself or my atty's 510s enough, maybe someday). If I do dive into the hybrids, I'll probably shoot for both a SMPL and a 4nine, but first I think I'd go for a cigreen Excalibur just to own an...

RDA RDA Clones... help yet answers abound

If it worries you a lot to buy a clone, then a clone may not be the right purchase for you. I won't buy anything authentic that is more than 40$, so that leaves mostly clones, with a few nice exceptions. Every clone has the potential to be a lemon, but by aggregate one can discern the...

RDA First day dripping and juice is too sweet?

Dripping in my experience tends to enhance the flavors of many juices. Sometimes, this enhancement includes all of the notes you wouldn't taste in a clearo tank - and those hidden notes just aren't tasty when you can actually taste them! You can try playing with your ratios (higher VG, higher...

falling off the wagon, and am now riding the horse

Glad you've found a good solution for your vape needs. There's nothing wrong with ego batteries. They work fine and as intended usually. What you put on top of the ego is what actually matters, and in that I agree, the usual CE-3-4-5 nonsense is not conducive to a good vape. But I know many...

    iTaste MVP V3.0 reviews

While Innokin has made some great mods in the past, the MVP 3 seems a little flat compared to the rest of the market right now. Still, I'm sure it's a solid, sturdy mod worth purchasing.

Are Mechanical Mods Going the Way of the Dodo Bird?

I hope you're enjoying the Magma! I was the same, I swore I'd never build a coil (thought I wouldn't be able to) but a couple of weeks ago I took the plunge. Glad I did, even though the Magma has its issues it has some amazing flavor and is super easy to build on. As for mechs, I doubt they...

    upgrade

You would be better off buying the MVP 20 watt (NOT the MVP 2) or an eLeaf iStick (20 watt or 30 watt, either model is fine). As for a clearomizer, there will be many varied opinions, most of which will include the Aspire Nautilus Mini, or the Kanger Subtank Mini. If you choose to look at the...

    What is KVP and KSD?

Strangely, older vape gear seems to keep pricing over longer periods of time, even though it doesn't make sense functionally. For example, the Itaste 134's are terribly underpowered and physically very big and have less features than a 30 watt mod, but still tend to cost $80 dollars or more...
