    Switch Mods.... Sketchy?

Hmm... Interesting. Must be brand new, they don't seem to have a interweb review history. Appears to be... well made, aluminum or copper mods, with fairly basic design, aluminum/SS attys - good on 'em for posts integral to base. No button design description or photos. Bad idea. Costs are...

    Looking for kayfun users.

If one were to do a poll, I'd imagine that the vast majority of KFL+ users run (regularly) between 0.9Ω and 1.7Ω, depending on wire gauge and desired heat flux values. (coil radiant heat in milliwatts per millimeter of coil surface area, squared). At 1.0Ω, a single 27 gauge 8 wrap (at 20...

    Kraken help pls

You can sub-ohm an 18350 (0.7Ω draws 6 amps at 4.2v), but continuous run time will be pretty short... 8-9 minutes. Double that with at 1.2Ω+/-.

Woo hoo! 5K posts for David! Congrats vapin' kitty. ;-)

Tried 0.5ohms and it way to warm for me

Without knowing the actual wire gauge used in your coil heads, it's kinda tough to calculate coil radiant heat values. An example of this might be: If the 0.5Ω heads are made from 29/30 gauge wire, at 17 watts... the heat flux would be in the mid to upper 200 ~ lower 300 mW/mm2 range...

Just Got My Billow & Sigelei 150w Mod -- Sub-Ohm Question

I don't own a Billow... but isn't it designed for dual parallel coils? If you want an optimized build for your RTA, click the first and second sigline links below... with Steam Engine, you can build for an optimal "heat flux", "heat capacity" and a low "leg power loss". The first reference is...

Batteries for Itaste 134 Mini Question???

You want 'IMR' chemistry batteries... button or flat doesn't matter. Get them from a reputable source... so you don't end up with forgeries.

dual coils using 24 gauge kanthal, how many wraps to get .15 - .09 ohms?

Click the first and second sigline hyperlinks below... maybe the third one as well. Then, unless you just get lonely... you won't need to ask anyone anything again. ;-)

    Kraken help pls

A complete description is always good when asking any sort of technical issue question. Saying that, I'll give it a shot, but without knowledge of what power application you have, and the rather limited build description... there's a good bit of guesswork going on. 30 gauge is a bit on the thin...

RDA Got my first RBA today yay! So excited!

That's a load. What you like or can tolerate, will depend on a extensive number of factors... certainly not just the nicotine mg./ml. Wire gauge and length to produce 'X' target net resistance, coil count/in parallel, method of power supply, heat flux and to a lesser degree, heat capacity...

    SVD 2.0 DNA, safe wattage?

This old, basic Ohm's law chart is primarily for use by those with VV devices and very basic atomizers... for you, it's pretty much obsolete. You can run literally, hundreds of watts, if the atomizer has the proper balance of wire gauge and length, resistance and parallel coil count. For a...

    SVD 2.0 DNA, safe wattage?

I'm not sure what chart you're looking at, Gematria... but the values are well in line with the Ohm's law formula for a 2.0Ω resistance and 12 watts output. Insert your known constants (2.0Ω/12w) into this Ohm's law calculator... and the resultant voltage will be 4.9v.

    Sucking on Exhaust pipes

For future reference, opm... when you have a problem, or just want another brain to consider you're issue, please include all pertinent data regarding your build, power supply and juice details. I don't know what blend/flavor you're using for juice... but some simply don't work all that well...

    Polishing Copper Mods

I can't help you with polish and tarnish removal (far too many products that all accomplish the same thing), but I can offer a suggestion for a metal sealant/preservative... and that would be "Renaissance Wax". Cheers

Should I get a mechanical mod?

You will need to understand, perhaps to a higher level than present... Ohm's law, battery safety, basic physics and decent math skills. You'll need to obtain a ohm meter/build box and a decent DMM... the latter of which you will use to test batteries and continuity/resistance of you mech...
