Busted my atomizers from cleaning
Usually water remains in the metallic wool whatever method you use for drying. Put some juice inside and puff for 20-30 times, the water will eventually boil out and then it will start to work (if the atty connector to the battery side is intact and not shorted).- caesar

I smoked for 10 years at least 1 ppd marlboro 100 regular filters. At 30 years I find myself confident with technology and the manual 510 still doesn't convince me. Thanks for lighting me on this one. They seem to be LiFePO4 or worst case LiCoO2 with diodes, worst case cause they never get fully charged, and the diode could be called "protection circuit", pretty evil, I know. Actually a 3.6V Lithium rechargeable has 4.2V when fully charged and should not be used under 3.2V. It will simply get damaged and will loose it's capacity if overdischarged. Protected batteries have a controller that cuts them off if overcharged or overdischarged. If you mix two protected... -

GG custom production line
Resistors are not good to step down the voltage as they will get very hot and eat that battery faster then the atty. There is a simpler method to regulate that voltage, it takes only a 20mm wide and 4-5mm thick disc to regulate that without loosing any of the battery charge for stepping down... -
RN4081 atomizer as 901 connector
I also use a 901 atty as a connector for my RN4081's. The only small downside is that the RN holes stick out (around 1,5mm) but the drag is excellent if you plug the middle hole in the 901 with some glue. What method do you use to clean your atomizer? (Poll)
I used an RN4081 atty for 3 weeks and only drained it 4 or 5 times overnight, only dripping during the day. Then I rotated 3 and washed them with hot water every night, they are all unusable after 10 days due to an awful lagging smell when using them. I now returned to the method of not caring...- caesar
