Don'ts:
Don't short them.
Don't use them in series/parallel setups.
Don't spill liquid/juice on them.
Do's:
Do change them when vapor gets thinner.
Do charge them any way you like (with a li-ion charger)
Do vape them without worries.
Thanks j0ker! This one has some potential indeed.
Every hour that passes I'm getting better at firing the atty the way I want it.
It's like learning to drive a car :D
It not mechanical at all, no moving parts. Just some fancy electronics.
The parts are well oversized, the control MOSFET is...
That's exactly the idea, only this one needs less effort.
As solid as the bronze metal cap.
Will do as soon as I can grab a real camera to film with.
You vary it yourself to your liking. Actually it takes some time to get used to, but worst case scenario: you always activate it at maximum.
Your problem comes from the cheap charger.
The batts were fine when you first started using them but these cheap chinese chargers kill them slowly in time.
Buying batts from china is ok but chargers should be better quality.
Best method is to buy some Li-Ion charger boards based on MAX1811 and...
Hi fellow modders and vapers!
Still in testing stage for now but I want to present you an early prototype of my latest variable power touch switch.
Showing it by vaping is difficult so I used a LED in the video to demonstrate its capabilities.
Basically it senses if you barely touch it or...
Sounds more like someone prepared it in the basement.
Not that Dekang has the best flavors but they certainly don't taste foul.
I'd say send it back, it's just a bad juice.
Lithiums have the lowest self discharge rate of all chemistry types.
You don't need to worry about that if you leave them for less then a year standing. And even so, just recharge them before use and problem is solved.
PS: discharge should be at about 50% in 6 months if I remember correctly.
chill people, that regulation is below a few milliamperes! Attys need over 1000.
At most you could just use the box to hold batteries, and even so you get 2xAA holders cheaper.
I can understand making connectors or even adapting some N and M connectors when you can't find the originals or are out of dead batteries.
But when you can find the originals cheaply why bother making them?
There is no way one can beat the chinese prices!
I did one for me that charges anything thrown at it and with 10 channels but the cost is high. At least I know that every single one is charged according to Lithium specs though.
The cheapest way for you is this:
DealExtreme: $15.82 7 Ports...
It's in every network card - 10Mb old ISA cards are the best!
It's a 5V-9V small booster.
Alternatively you could make one with some small dedicated IC and 2-3 capacitors.
None will work on a computer USB port though, voltage drops to ~3V when using attys.
Thanks kristin for sharing, tried it and it works great for me.
Already on the 3rd day vaping it and it still wicks fine, still taking at least 10 drops on a refill.
Worked from the first try and with great results (been using the loosely rolled double fold before, could only refill with 7...
I only used the blanks from HG and fill them myself with Dekang juice. Excellent at 5V (pure 5V), lots of vapor.
Can't stand them on regular voltage, too wimpy.
I put the solderwire in the connector hole from the batt side then apply the heated soldering gun. Connector is shut now.
Then apply the soldered wire over the connector, heat it and it slips in the center hole. Center still shut and contact is also maximized.
Thanks for sharing!
First impression, works better then the others, more juice in, better and longer vapor.
Will see in a few days how it performs in the long run.
PS: Straw is there to hold the lipton bag inside the cart so it won't come out into the atty.
