Sci you are a pure genius.
I was getting ready to solder the magnet when I decided to try a small magnet on the negative battery end. Those little ones are to small but I had some from wal-mart that are almost as big as the end of the 18650. Perfect fit to the contact actually.
Now that...
Now there is something very simple I would have never thought of for that switch. I like this idea Sci. As the matter of fact I think they should come that way now.
Like I was hit by a Mack truck.
Actually worked pretty sweet easy to change the battery and all. Fits in the hand remarkably well with good switch placement. I have a nascar helmet one to do but think the regular size pez only will accept the 10440 battery. Yep just rechecked that. The...
Actually it can still be activated in a purse or pocket unless the main kill switch is turned off.
I`ll just toss this out there as well for a mostly flat switch. Have them but haven`t used them yet. They seem alright. You would have to bend the post out on these to fit them in a box mod. And...
That mint tin will hold 1 18650 just need to crimp the lid ridge to flatten out to let it slide in. It will actually hold 2 but not much room after that. Then this syringe holder tube fits right in there giving it a safe cradle to perch in. Actually just what was needed in my looking for the...
There is this that seems to work for the 901

I`ve seen where two posters have mentioned going to mod those type toothbrushes but have yet to see one. They already take a battery and that means they are half perfect already.
Just have to make sure the kid still brushes with his finger though.
Especially after they eat the mini...
Holding up rather nicely Sci although I`m hitting my 5 volt much more though.
I did happen to play with another tube just a tad. Well along with my trusty Jeff Gordon Bic lighter.
Melted or actually tried to just flatten the end of the tube slightly where it bends. It flattened...
14500 are thinner then cr2 so most likely won`t fit.

Nice tubes in those links. Thanks for posting them Drozd. I just know I need them they are to nice not to have. Got to keep them batteries dry you know. :)
First I would contact the vendor maybe they have a spare for cheap. Unless it was defected then they should just replace it. Hope it works out for you in either just getting a replacement or finding yours.
And yes Sci it`s two mod tubes for 60 cents. Plus additional higher priced parts.
And Chiqa I think that`s right on track a syringe type PV would be as close to a water tight device I can think of. I`ll for sure look into this and let you know if I come up with anything soon. A good...
My sister mentioned this idea and it works rather well. These can easily be decorated although it fits a little snug with any cut piece of paper as I did below. Just need to slide it in with the battery at the same time.
Now I`m wishing I didn`t use that big white plug for the positive contact...
They both look good, Love the yellow. I need all mine to be yellow so I can find them easy. the 2nd one looks very sturdy. Hope you get that mod powered up soon.
