Hmm don`t know there misterD.
Have you just tried a little solder build up on the center post to make it stick out more? Keep it as smooth as possible so when you screw the atomizer on it doesn`t cause the center pin to turn and twist the wire.
Or is the center pin actually wiggly in...
Hello redgirl,
On this mod are the battery post tabs slots still there on the side opposite the main off and on switch? This will make them fit tight.
Also if they are still there Ez Duzit tells how to do this in this thread right after picture 8 he mentions cutting the slots off...
I`m pretty sure I`ve read where the OP makes Guitars and seeing what they are doing in the modders forum with the Putty stuff very do-able if you ask me. Of course not out of the lighter it don`t look like it would hold a battery possibly.
Although when I first seen it a while back I thought on...
Ooops I think I was referring to the wrong mod and Thanks for the comment. I think you might have meant this one?

I`m using that same regulator on my 5 volt and getting right around 5 volts at the connector using 14500 batteries. But that`s the 5 volt regulator for you at work giving you the 5 volts. No adjustment to that sorry.
Great you got them ordered from Madvapes they have excellent fast shipping...
Is there an interest in new/replacement ceramic cups for atty building?
Yes there is I would love to be able to get some for making the 510 size and 801. Please keep me in mind if this happens. :thumb:
Just wanted to toss this in on where I get my batteries. People can say what they want but I rate these high and have yet to get any bad ones.
Actually I get my 14500 here
DealExtreme: $4.73 TrustFire Protected 14500 3.7V 900mAh Lithium Batteries (2-Pack Blue)
Just long shipping time but...
For one adding a 3rd battery means a larger box so why not just use 2 larger batteries like the normal 14500 type? It will give you much larger battery mAh then those 10440`s.
It seems that by doing the series of batteries is where we actually step up the risk factor of over working one of the...
Got to Love a home made mod that hits so well. I`m so happy with mine and that`s a Giant thanks to Ez_ Duzit. :thumb:
You set yours up like I have mine with the batteries staying side by side. Very nice Mod job Vadim.

And there you have it. One way to fix your own if it ever does break is making them yourself.. Check out the mod forums here and you will get all the help you need if you need any with the great how to threads in there.
Once you make one the rest are simple. If you can solder or want to learn...
Looks good storminyte. :thumb:
I was going to ask how tight it was but think you are still working on that area. What you have pictured there looks great and universal for those bike tubes really can stretch.
I`ve never torn one apart but will someday just to do it. I`d say you could weaken the tube around the connector with some small cuts. Close to the connector I don`t see this being much trouble just don't go deep with the cuts. Figure that tube isn`t all that thick.
Then you might be able to...
Here is the link for the Charger tube on ebay

And for a undetermined amount of time these pictures showing how well the bottle fits the bottle can be viewed HERE at Photobucket just in case you wanted to see. :)

I had one heat up real hot due to cutting the protective cover on the end making a mod while working on getting the battery to fit. Wasn`t pretty but wasn`t any sparks flying, flames or other damage caused by it. Just one no longer good battery.
I noticed it due to a electric getting to hot...
