    So, you wish to build your first mod but actually wish to build your first circuit to go in your first mod as well? Why not baby-step it a little? There are voltage displays available like you describe.... Not criticizing, I tend to do things the hard way sometimes too, just a suggestion.

    There is a new Monkeybox wood mod called Kong which uses the 26500 which *are* a little scarce now. However someone did report getting a ship notice on these batts recently, I'll find out from where and post here when I find out. mj

    Well I don't know how to use them properly but when I get power to pins 1 and 3 iflashes me a voltage for batt 1, then batt 2, then all batts. Power to pins 1 and 2 yeilds nothing.However the voltages weren't right, they were 6V and up and I had a 3.7 batt on.... They are really meant to be...
