CONGRATS to you and DH, Darlin'!! Forty-six beautiful, wonderful years together.:wub::wub: I wish the two of you many, many more years together!!
I was sleeping... had to wake up to help the nurse get DB out of bed for a pee-pee break and give meds. She's all settled back in now, so I'm going back to sleep for another three and a half hours before I get up to go home so I can get ready for work. Love y'all, sweet dreams when ya get there...
You're right, silicone might be a good replacement, too. For me, it'd probably be easier and cleaner to modify it for a round button... LOL. I suck at molding silicone stuff.
Hmmmm... maybe 3-in-1 oil? Or someone else makes a Teflon powder that is suspended in an alcohol solution. That stuff...
You make me wonder if it wouldn't be possible to modify the case on the Therion and put a round button in it... you also make me laugh every time you talk about the Perseus. That sounds like a highly frustrating piece of equipment!

Mine too. That's why I already had the hammered copper paint. I used it to paint...
It's looking pretty good so far, but I think it'll be next to impossible to find an atty that really matches it. I mean, it's spray painted copper, so just not quite the same as real copper, ya know? That's why I'm thinking of putting in some highlight/accent colors. Maybe black... that way...
I think it's gonna be pretty cool when it's all done. Won't know for sure until the paint dries... I may need to do some accent color or something. Maybe in the grooves on the battery cover? Either way, there shouldn't be any more problems with the 510 or the wiring after it's done.
I haven't...
Well, the SDNA75 has been sprayed with a couple coats of Hammered Copper by Rustoleum and is looking pretty good. Think I'll let it cure for a couple of days before reassembly and then I'll throw up some pics to see what y'all think about it. I'll put a bit of Loc-Tite on the 510 threads so that...
