    That all makes perfect sense. I don't know exactly what their protocol is here (and things seem to vary with each different physical therapist), but I have noticed around here that usually they put a belt thing around the waist or chest of most "fall risk" patients when they get them out of bed...

    I think I've finally decided that they probably haven't come to us, because that would probably be seen as an admission of guilt. Little do they know that they probably could have gotten off light. If they came to us and offered to cover expenses, we might have let it go. They've missed that...

    I'm not mad, Bea. Not at all. I know that I need to get it taken care of. My dad has had several heart attacks, so I know I'm at risk. I just have a bad tendency to ignore myself in favor of taking care of her. Then I just hope that it doesn't bite me in the .... later. LOL!! A little warped...

    Stress, genetics, probably diet to some extent. Red meat is a primary staple of my diet. I'll get an appointment set up soon. It's something that I've definitely been meaning to get taken care of.

    LOL! Yeah, that's kinda how I felt, too. Doc came by tonight and is about to try starting her on oral meds so he can get her ready to go home. Probably be another couple of days, but that's PROGRESS!!
