    Ughhh... yeah, the Navy screwed up my back very early in my career. I have found that the Icy Hot XL Back patches (menthol is the active ingredient) help quite a bit. Alternate those with a TENS unit and I can get things settled down pretty quickly. Of course, adding 800mg ibuprofen doesn't hurt...
