    My (very basic) 510 juicebox

I'm thinking, give it a month or so and you will have several to choose from. And another month or two after that the Chinese will have them at half the price. It's just a matter of time at this point ;)

lets make the BB glow with Tritium!

That doesn't sound promising :( (unless we only need a couple nanograms to get the effect)

    My first All Epoxy Mod

I actually have about three different options for angles that I could attack this from. I will probably try all of them to see what is going to work out the best. I wish I had some way to CNC the original parts to be molded. As it stands, I am going to have to carve them by hand to get what...

    510 Juicer

Looks nice chc. I like your use of the pump bottle. Makes for much more accurate juice delivery. :thumb: Just a thought: couldn't you swap places with the batt and bottle so your tube doesn't have to go all the way across the top?

1.5A vs 3.0A - Which do you prefer? Which is 'safer'?

+1 to that And I will add that if you don't have a very good heat sink on that 1.5A regulator you will blow it with a 510. If you have an excellent heat sink on it you might get away with it longer but like joker said, eventually...

The Mini Juice Machine Mk 3

Clyde...did you not see the whole explosion paranoia that's hit the forum in the last few days? http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/announcements-rules/76078-exploding-mods-current-situation.html#post1128521 kind of a joke if you ask me (but nobody asked me:rolleyes:)

    My first All Epoxy Mod

Thanks Peter. I watched that exact video last night. The RTV I got claims that degassing is not necessary, but I guess I'll find out. (the hard way probably). If I see problems with it on the first one I'll give your method a shot and see if it helps. I've already spent about a hundred...

    My first All Epoxy Mod

I will be making something with the 18650, but I figure if you are going to have all that height, you might as well stick a juice bottle under the atty, so you will need to follow my JB thread for developments with the 18650 batts. Although I may end up trying to make one of these with the...

    My first All Epoxy Mod

Yup, that's what I got. The part I'm wrestling with now is where to split the unit. I can either cut it down the vertical center line and mold it in two halves. (difficult multi part mold) or I can mold it in two pieces with a 'bottom' (flat) piece and a 'body' piece (with the two tubes in...

    My first All Epoxy Mod

Well I have ordered some stuff to make my own mold and build these using a polymer resin. We'll see how that goes  I see big, sticky messes and lots of cussing in my near future :p

Need suggestions how to extend contact from 510 connector

Just solder pretty much anything to it (wire, brass tube, etc.) and then isolate it with some epoxy putty. That will not only electrically isolate it, but will also give it the stiffness and support that you need.

My homemade mini juicebox (the MrPuffer)

Thanks MP. Your box looks very nice too. I think you might be a little low on your price point though. You will not be able to keep up with the flood of orders you are going to get at that cost. I'm pretty sure I'll be ordering one when you launch. ;) Love the small size you have made it...

The Mini Juice Machine Mk 3

Peter, good to have you back. :) As for the switch, there really is no big trick to it. You just have to have a spring with a large enough diameter that it doesn't hit the center button on the + side of the batt, and then a contact point that does hit the center button when you push on the...

My homemade mini juicebox (the MrPuffer)

Ugh. I read that post. If you ask me the 'powers that be' on this forum are being a little paranoid. For one thing, ECF has zero liability in such incidents. For another thing, that entire post could have been summed up in one statement..."use protected batteries". Now we gotta go though...

    My (very basic) 510 juicebox

I'm not really sure. I got a grab bag of stuff from the local hobby store. It had about a hundred pieces of lots of different sizes. I just dug through it until I found one that worked.

    My first All Epoxy Mod

My next one will definitely use an 18350 (1200mAh). I have thought about making an 18650 one too, but it looses the 'tiny' aspect when you build around an 18650. I can make one though. I'm just reluctant to start selling anything until I'm sure that that's what I want to do. I don't want to...

    My first All Epoxy Mod

Yeah the making a mold is what I'm researching. The problem with having someone else make them is that there are huge up-front tooling costs, and by the time I sell the fist dozen of them, someone else will copy it and undercut my price. As with any mod in this business, there's only about a...

    My first All Epoxy Mod

Thanks guys. Yeah, I would like to be able to make these and sell them for around 30-35 bucks (some day), but right now it's taking way too long to make each one to be able to sell them for that. I am working on an easier way to produce them, but I still have some research to do to make that...

    My first All Epoxy Mod

Well I built my second one yesterday to work out the button design. I know exactly what I want to do, but I'm still having issues figuring out how to pull it off. Anyway, here's a pic of my second... BTW: I have been using my first one since the day I built it, and I love it. It's...

    MadVapes Nico-Drip Mod

While I will admit that my 'switch' is probably the ugliest switch ever made, I'm pretty confident that it will still be switching long after every other switch sold today has failed ;) I am all for mechanical switching. It's just the simplest and most reliable way to do it. BTW: thanks for...
