    Genesis Air Shapes/Patterns

My 1ohm coil on the AGA is a vapor machine and it only takes a second to blow your head off but there is almost no throat hit and the draw is SO airy. When I plug the hole somewhat, the flavor comes out bigtime but I get less vapor....not a lot less, but less. I've come to the point in my...

    Genesis Air Shapes/Patterns

Yeah, I'm *really* considering plugging the 1/16" hole I made and using 2 small holes spanning the entire length of the exposed wick (one near the top, one near the bottom, evenly spaced).

    Genesis Air Shapes/Patterns

I agree totally. The phoenix is a great example of that. To me, second to atomizer dripping, the phoenix with cotton yarn is the most flavorful vape I've ever enjoyed. The yarn swells quite a bit with liquid and holds a hell of a lot. It's the closest I've come to an atomizer flavor. You can do...

    Genesis Air Shapes/Patterns

We all know how important the airhole placement is on a genesis. It means the difference between a lot of vapor and almost none. I've had a few genesis attys namely the Phoenix, DID mini and AGA-T. It's clear to me that the shape or path the air takes is center to things like flavor, throat hit...

    AGA-T+ Coiling issues

I've been using an AGA-T (with glass ibtanked tank) since they came out more or less. The top coil hotspot is, certainly, a pain in the rump. What I've resigned to doing is pulsing the power until it, effectively, burns the hotspot point of contact away. Basically the wire will glow from center...

    AGA T Tank hole problem

The obvious solution is not to screw it all the way down. :\ It's how I've been using it since I got it months ago. You can take the replacement O-ring that goes below the threads there and add it to the existing one to shore it up so to speak so it's tighter when its over the wick. That is all.

Watts do not matter. Its all about wire temp. Read on…

I know this will be a bit off-point but air resistance plays a *huge* part in vapor production. Rather, air *flow*. I use an AGA-T Drilled to 1/16" This is a large hole, relatively. I wrap a 2/3 Kanthal 28awg 1ohm coil as a matter of course. With that much vapor production, my draw becomes...

Has anyone tried the AGA Tiamat PLUS w/Glass Tank

I got the regular AGA-T then got a glass tank for it from iBTanked. Very sweet. The plastic tank cracked within 6 hours.

    #500 SS Mesh

I know this is blasphemy in this thread but i decided to fall back on my phoenix days of using cotton yarn for the wick. The twist, though, is that I'm using the solid mesh wick for exactly that...wicking. I'm going to see if the mesh wick will wick juice up and onto the cotton that's wrapped...

Aga t+ . just can't get it working

I can try to help you although there are more qualified members out there (BJ, studiovap). My main atty is an AGA-T with a glass tank on a Telescope and I can tell you, its fantastic. How many wraps are you making and whats the gauge of the wire and what type of wire (kanthal, nichrome). My...

I've been putting it off, but I get no throat hit to speak of with my AGA-T drilled to 1/16" My Ego with CE4 has become a fav vape of mine if only because of the T.H. Also, the flavor doesn't seem to be that great compared to my CE4. Does anyone have an idea what's going on there?

hemp is SOO 4 hours ago! Now we use Llama hair coated with beetle excretion, kiln-fired, then processed through a fiber optic extruder. Get with it, man. ;)

The A7's are simply Phoenix's yes? I found that cotton yarn (I assume hemp is very similar) as a wick in the Phoenix is a really, REALLY good vape. Better flavor than SS, imho. My only beef is the size, insofar as there's a cap on vapor production just by virtue of it's smaller size. In spite...

I'm no pro, but I spend the same amount of time futzing with my top coil. I had a washer on the positive pole to reduce the distance between the wick and pole which, I thought, was supposed to help with that. Nope. Not with this setup. Once I removed the washer, all was good and has been...

So after a few days with a solid core wick on a bored out AGA-T (with ibtanked glass tank), I can officially say I've found the best vape to date and is a benchmark, now, that future vapes will be compared to. Not that my previous builds were terrible, but by comparison, they were ......ed...

Essential tobacco juices? More details inside...

I was just about to post something to the same effect. The world of tobacco vapes is a world unto itself, of which, I'm not a member....but I'm trying :) Can someone give me the short list of quintessential tobacco vapes? I hear good things about Gandalf, and e-pipe mods juices as well.

Ah Ha. Not torching first probably helps prevent it from being so springy. I just bored out my AGA and put in a solid wick and all i can say is that it's amazing. 1 second hits are *more* than enough. I think I've found perfection. I still have a top-coil hotspot almost every time though. I have...

When you roll them, the tendency is for them to spring open and unroll. How to you cope with that?

@ BJ - I've browsed 80% of this thread (no mean feat) and haven't seen it covered as to how you are rolling your mesh so tight. I'm damaging my fingers (pun) rolling mesh on my desk or with a dollar bill to get it all to fit in my wick hole.
