I ordered a fine Janty Stick. Of those offered it sure was the pick. Now it might have been shipped, Or it might have been skipped! All this waiting is making me sick!

    Long Life Atomizer Poll...

Vaporizers that have lasted longer than one month: Janty KB Beci Pen style (They call it an BE112 - looks like a 4072) 4072 from Pure Smoker (looks just like th Beci) I've had examples of each of these go weak. Most reponded well to simple rinsing and rest.

    An open letter to all

Sorry for your loss, Chris. I too discovered PV's too late, but my bladder cancer seems to be responding well to immunotherapy so I'm hopeful. I have a cousin who insists on trying the patch again. If it fails, which it probably will, I have a starter kit ready for him. I've also been talking...

The Janty Stick seems to be the Janty passthrough in a nice container. I was starting to build the passthrough into an Altoids tin when the stick was announced. Much niftier!

The Kissbox was the first PV I ever had that was good enough to completely replace analogs, and it wrote finished to over 50 years of smoking for me. It's still in daily use on the original set of batteries (6 mos later!). Come to think of it, one of the two the original atomizers is still...

Finally done analogs! Uncle Sam can kiss my ___!

Kate - when you need a new drum head they tax that too!

    Carrying cases

I found a small pouch by Case Logic. Two zippered compartments, plenty of room. Can take a pen style assembled, might even take a Prodigy. Originally intended for a cassette walkman. (Remember those?)

    Which will come first?

I think Janty will win the race to the mailbox. Steve keeps coming up with improvements, which have to slow things down somewhat. I just hope they don't arrive on the same day so I shouldn't have an accident in the mail room!

    Cleaning atomizers. Yes? No?

I alternate a pair, blow out (by mouth) most nights. When one gets weak, the only way I've found to revive it (maybe) is to hook up to USB and suck like mad until it gets very hot. I try not to get excited about it. Whenever one gives up I just order another 10 from Beci <g>.

Another vote for larger bottles. Janty chocolate and coffee are the best example of those flavors I have found.

The Ever Changing ... Prodigy V1 (still not even at V2 yet)

Now this is really cool - getting in on all the R&D of a next generation product without having to do any of the work! It's like having a team of bright young people coming up with great ideas and executing them, while my soldering iron sits nice and cool in its case, waiting for the next tube...

So what are we addicted to anyway?

I attended a Catholic grammar school and, although I never saw a nun smoking, there were several that would have looked perfectly natural puffing on a cheroot. And carrying a machete.

So what are we addicted to anyway?

Thanks Kate. I thought that this might have been covered before, but when I did a search I didn't find anything.

Is there an American Company out there??

I'd be happy if someone in the US came up with a PV that worked better than the ones we have now. PureSmoker seems to be giving it a try with the Prodigy and a better quality passthrough, to be followed by a US made atomizer. Be interesting to see how they make out.

So what are we addicted to anyway?

Yes, for most of us nicotine, but some are vaping happily with zero nic. Here are the modalities of smoking I have recognized, in no particular order: Nicotine Throat hit Flavor Seeing smoke Smell Seeing fire/led Handling the device Lighting a fire Feeling of security from having enough...

    E cig Storage

Jules - I just ordered the same box. Glad to hear that it is large, as my collection keeps outgrowing everything I put it in. Maybe this one will have some free space for a while!

English Toffee or Pralines and Cream...

Really surprised! I find that a very little P&C goes a very long way (although not as long as the super concentrated Bavarian Cream), and is always quite sweet. But there are some days when I can't get much of any flavor out of a mix that seemed wonderful the day before. I think our taste buds...

    mark-up on e-juice

I hope all interested in this are aware of the hazards of handling very high concentrations of nicotine. My understanding is that a drop of pure nic on your skin will result in death. Maybe that's why people who handle it expect to get paid plenty. Please be careful. Better yet, buy some 36mg...
