    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

I think the whole line of Tatiana Flavored Cigars taste great. I haven't decanted Fusion Frenzy or Sweet euphoria yet, but if they taste as good as the rest of the lineup it will be $8 well spent.

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

I took advantage of the GeJ sale and stocked up on Patriot and VB. Tried Organic and Godfather for the first time. The Organic was a little too sweet for my taste and the Godfather had an overwhelming liquorice taste. I'll give those two another try in a few weeks to see if there are any changes...

Don't extract from whole tobacco leaves. They all, for the most part, taste like crap.

Slow Cooker Extraction of Tobacco and Tea

Dude. You have to hit " reply with quote" so we know which post your questioning. I don't see a recent post stating 150 mls to an ounce at 5%. Which post are you referring to?

I got several from Diane when she frst opened. Country Squire, Wicked Wench and some other whose names escape me right now. CS was the only one I liked so I can't really speak for the others.

You may want to give the Country Squire a long steep. It keeps on getting better even two months later.

Keeping flavors tasty, fresh, and unsteeped

Hey Dude, long time no see. I find that fruit flavors tend to be good right out the gate. Tobacco mixes are the only mixes that need a long steep IMHO.

Slow Cooker Extraction of Tobacco and Tea

I heat the solvent to 150F, usually 80-100 mls. Then I add 1 oz. of tobacco and turn off the heat. Once a week I re-heat to 150F and when it reaches temperature I turn off the heat and stir. Most aromatics I do 4 weeks. Non-aromatics 5 weeks and Cigars 6 weeks. This method, I feel, gives me the...

    Cold maceration of tobacco

I have pondered using 3 micron filters in the Aeropress. I just didn't think it would be worth the trouble of cutting the 7cm filter down to 6.5 cm only to find that I couldn't get the concentrate through the filter using the Aeropress. Is it harder to plunge with the 2.5 mi filter?

    Cold maceration of tobacco

When I first started extracting I used the Microwave method. After a few tasteless soups I read-up on things. Initial heat, cold extraction with 1 oz. of tobacco into 80 - 100 mls. of solvent seems to bring out the best extract for me. At least after 75+ extractions, it ain't broke, so I ain't...

    Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Have you tried Bill's Joe Krantz? It's a good one. There's one flavor in Lord Nelson I can't identify. It's a back taste, very pleasant but a taste I don't think I have experienced before. Bill's Poplar was on the list for tomorrow but there's no rule says I can't bump it up to tonight's...
