I stored my liter of MFS 100mg VG nic {that is now one year old} in 8 x 125 ml blue glass bottles with every bit of air displaced. {kept in freezer} -I just opened one up yesterday and it is every bit as colorless as it was when I bought it. MFS = Good stuff! :)
You get used to how often to squeeze the bottle. You can take the top cap off and observe the liquid feed initially. That's what I did at first. Bottom feeding does not make ME vape any more or less. The Derringer clone makes for a great BF atty for cheap. :)
:) LOL, I was referring to the fact that you have to manually squeeze the juice bottle every now and again versus a tank that feeds itself. But this is a small price to pay for the quality of the vape. BTW, I retired all my tanks and have seven bottom feeders with an eighth being built at this...
In my opinion, tanks will never equal or surpass drippers. By design, they can't.
In my opinion, bottom feeders combine the flavor of a dripper with (almost) all the convenience of a tank. Seems like a win to me!
DIY is easier than you think. I have not bought juice from any vendor in over 1.5 years. Mine tastes better. :) -Go to the DIY sub forum. We will all be more than glad to help you get started.
I vape all day long at my work. Nobody has a problem with me doing it, nor are they interested in vaping. So everybody else steps outside to smoke their stinkies. Vape on!
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your Milkman recipe. I absolutely love this! -After sitting a couple weeks, it is fantastic. I never tried the real thing and probably never will as I only DIY, but it is one of my favorite recipes. I am grateful. Hugs!
All true menthol is the same- made from menthol crystals dissolved in PG. I get mine from TFA already in liquid form:
Perfumers Apprentice - Menthol Liquid (PG)
For sweetener, you can either use EM or sweetener. TFA has both:
Perfumers Apprentice - Cotton Candy Flavor
Perfumers Apprentice -...
Here are images of before and after machining down the catch cup: Exactly 3 millimeters {.118"} was removed. This can be done in many different ways; I used a vertical mill. :)

Since I got the Reo clone, I have been running a .45 ohm build with a Samsung 25R flat top. It has been stone cold reliable. I'm extremely satisfied with it's performance. Even after several long pulls, the spring and contact strip just barely get warm. :)
Keeping things as simple as possible, I tried the easiest recipe first- just 20% TFA Orange Cream only. In a 75VG/25PG 8mg base, this is VERY tasty. Looking forward to comparing this to some of the more complex recipes. Good stuff! :)
I picked up the fake Reo from Focal with a fake Derringer for $23 and change. Milled 3mm off the catch cup, painted the bare aluminum, removed the paint under the batt spring and drilled out the positive pin on the atty. Result? This performs as well as my SMPL mechs as far as voltage drop...
