I had no issues at all punching this carto. It vapes like a champ. I punched two SMALL holes. I think the is the trick...don't drill all the way through the batting and hit the coil. I just started with a fresh SmokeStik tobacco carto and filled the tank with HALO Prime15 -

see that's the thing....that is actually HALF of what the device came with..it's an Octopus....so it had 8 strands of wick. And oh yes...they are connected...LOL. THere is a hole through each post that the wire passes through and then back up to wrap around the post. Then tighten the screws... -
