Exactly - with regard to PM's, nobody's business but yours and the person you PM with. But last night we were talking specifically about buying from classies postings in the classies for friends and that apparently it violates a rule. A rule against that specific situation was the "big deal". -

What I like most is buying new from Rob, a virgin Reo. I have been an ecf member for only 3 months and I have bought 2 grands, 2 minis and 1 min woodvil from Rob, thats 5 in 3 months. Mostly I only buy what I can't get from Rob off the classies, like nickels, or an Ebony i tried so hard to buy... -

I think that one person doing as you described on a repetetive basis and for profit would be brokering. But if you know that a friend wants a certain mod and on a one-off basis you buy it and then sell it to them for no profit, other than covering actual costs, this should be fine. Just my two...
