Persis, I don't think that they are really stainless steel.. one of the reviews says "Cons: made cheaply. made of the same powderd aluminum as most of the others. turning the caps creates aluminum dust and almost striped out the battery cap trying to remove it" I have a couple at home, I'll take...- Bubo

Interesting container for a mod - I like the way it looks! From what I can tell the only question you are asking is "What kind of battery do I need?" right? Odd, my one inch rope hasn't had that yet - but I've only scratched the surface of it.... The fluffy stuff looks like what I have been using though (The part you want to throw out).... I'd PM Scubabatdan and ask though! :) (That and put a lighter to it - if it burns and melts - bad! :) )- Bubo
