    Just for giggles, I googled how to accelerate the patina colors on copper... There are lots of chemicals and stuff, but apparently the quickest and easiest way is to urinate on it.... Serious! :lol:

    Aww crap. My wife has over booked me again - apparently we are having company over Saturday night, so I won't be able to make it. Again. I think everyone should come over to my house and we can have our own party, she'll get so irritated she'll never over book again! :-)

    I found a piece of plumber's gasket in my garage - the kind where you can cut out your own gaskets something like 4x6" and maybe 1/8" thick; it was orange red in color.... I used a hole punch (the kind you use for paper) and popped out a bunch of dots.... Eventually I figured you had to drill...

    Okay - got it... I just found the remnants of my original passthough (don't laugh too hard at it!) I will take some pics and post them for you tomorrow... In the meantime - I just ran across an old shortcut I had for this thread: "The .08 cent USB mod" it may or may not help! :-)

    The silica fiber is this stuff, used to repair wood stove gaskets I believe... I wouldn't use fiberglass or the stuff that is in fiber optic cable.... (But that's just me!)
