Very Nervous, but very excited too!

Yes, but I was 16 years old. It all worked out ok in the end, but it was tough to drive home with those fogged up windows.

    usb passthrough

Hey Justin, I have the V4L Passthru, and three of those dual port USB adapters. They ROCK! Buy it, you won't be dissappointed.

    Finally got my christmas order.....but....

Mine wasn't in a bag, and it was a mislabeled adapter. It doesn't overheat, been running it for a couple weeks.

    WHAT?!!!! A Leaford Lanyard Tip?!!

If ya do, I'd recommend buying another one, cuz you're sure to rip the cord right out of the connector when you get up without removing it! :) That is, if you're anything like me....

    Would this set up work?

Yes, that will be just fine. The circuit boards are so you can do additional things (most of the time the board is a boost to take it from 3.7 to 5v). I used a board to allow USB charging so I didn't have to pull the batteries.

Has any one taken a KR808d apart?

That's why I asked, it looks like his carto has a thicker nichrome wire running through it based on the angled pic 2... looks different than the rest of them. I'm gonna try to dissect and rebuild one if I can get one to die. Just need to order some nichrome wire.

Has any one taken a KR808d apart?

Is the center wire running down the cart straight, or is there a coil to it at some point?

Resistors for 6v down to 5v

Precisely. Remember, electricity always chases ground. So, with no ground to the regulator the electricity had nothing to chase.

    Server maintenance?

I've noticed that I can set my computer's clock to a slowdown that I get from ECF every night at 1:07am EST. Is there a server maintenance of some sort is hogging resources at that time?

    the "wii" cig :)

    Looks like it's a fail :)

Resistors for 6v down to 5v

Yes, the ground should ground the atty connector, and the center pin of the regulator. Checking with a load simply means checking the voltage at the atty connector, with an atty connected and the button pressed.

How many puffs is considered "heavy" vaping

Vaping at 3.7 definately conserves juice. The PT has become my passthru and I've been going through about 2-3 fills per day. I restricted myself to only my big battery mod today running at 3.7, and I just refilled my carto after 16 hours.

Resistors for 6v down to 5v

I'd assume bad regulator too, maybe ya caught it with some static? What's the loaded voltage coming out to be? Maybe the regulator needs a load to level out.

    the "wii" cig :)

So pick up a mosfet and run it off of that... If at first you don't succeed, try try again :)

    a letter to the queen

Maybe she'll take a little time out of her schedule and convince the Big O that he should tell the FDA to back off. Then she doesn't need to do a show.

    My first two mods

Picked up the switch yesterday and got it together. Here's a pic of the inside showing my ugly solder work. With the 750mah flat pack, I've been running for 10 hours, killed 1.5 cartomizers, she's still going strong. It'll charge and act as a passthru at the same time, but I want to kill it...
