    You can screw the cartos onto the 901 batts, but if you crank them down tight, there won't be any airflow. You can drill a few tiny holes in the threads of the 901 battery at the base to allow airflow. Otherwise, you can do the staple mod, leave the cart a bit loose, or buy the above adapter.

    What are the benefits of a Mod

    They can provide better battery life or more vapor/TH. Depends on what kind of mod they are. If you have a 3.7V mod, then it will just last longer. If your mod runs at a higher voltage, then you should have more vapor/TH.
