    Thanks for your replies everyone, I missed the other thread on the same. I tried poking the filler further into the cartridge, but didn't have much luck. This evening, however, I'm finding that with my pen style, they seem to work best for dripping, with no filler at all. I'll take it.

    I'm a willing guinea pig - have been using these things since November, and have cut my cigarette consumption from 1 to 1-1/2 packs a day to less than 1/2 a pack per day. I can "smoke" in my home again with these things, after 30 years of tobacco, I've never felt better.
