Reservoir Straw & Plug Mod (RSP Mod)

I had problems with the original stuffing and slow leaks (atty is vertical most of the time), so I went to dripping. While I don't mind dripping, there's been times it would have nice to just be able to quickly swap out a cart...I'll have to look and see what they have at the PX, here.

Homemade dremel vaporizer - Easy MOD for beginners + 510 smooth smoke info

Many people are using wallwart USB power supplies to do just that via passthroughs, yes.

How well does this (or the paperclip variant) work for 801?

    4th nicostick...new problem!

That *is* a great idea, but it seems more fitting to a 'normal' install than an RCA install - how are you going to make the connection to the male end and not have it break after opening it to clean leaks? I thought that was the reason for cutting down the barrel of the RCA plug so that it's...

    4th nicostick...new problem!

As said above, open the rca jack and make a solder bridge between the inside of the barrel and the outside of the atomizer connector. That should get you going again.

The PVMA no more worries for batt connectors!

Looks good. Once the glue dries, you may want to make a solder join between the inside of the RCA barrel and the outside of the atomizer connector.

    4th nicostick...new problem!

Pro tip: Tin your wires. Assuming you're using stranded wire, make sure the wire is twisted tight and not unraveled. Touch the soldering iron to the wire, and the solder to the wire. The solder will flow up the wire, tinning it. Make your mechanical connection first (put the wire...

    Case Idea

Interesting idea! For that matter, you could use the other side to hold the atomizer and a drip bottle...

    4th nicostick...new problem!

What he said....but (and I'm sure you already know this) take out the batteries first - voltage does bad things to multimeters set on ohms.

    made a simple 510 usb 5v passthrough

You don't need a regulator if you're using USB - it's a 5v output. You need some sort of small box (2AA or 2AAA should work fine) to hold the switch and connector. Mount your switch (normally open pushbutton) and battery connector in the box. Run the USB cable into the box. Solder the...

3.7 and 1.5 =5.2 or something very bad

As the others have said above - just don't do it. If you need more voltage, put the batteries in series. If you need more duration, put the batteries in parallel. If you need both, put 2 sets of batteries in series, then parallel them (4 batteries total) And last but not least...don't...

    PT inline battery

So far as I know, that's exactly how the battery passthroughs work. You're vaping off the battery, just like an OEM e-cig - you just have USB power running a charge chip topping the battery up between hits.

what do u think for a usb regulator or dc booster

If you're wanting to go over 5v, I'd just build a nicostick with the boost converter in it, to be honest. You'd be running close to the outside of the input voltage tolerance, and the increased amperage draw from the booster chip would make it where you POSITIVELY wouldn't want to use it on...

??? Can you frame that a little more clearly? I'm not sure what it is that you're asking.

I can tell y'all that the RS 3amp pushbutton switches (PN 275-609) aren't a good option.... they're definitely not MINI switches!!
